If you’re anything like us, you know French Bulldogs aren’t just pets—they’re family, comedians, cuddle bugs, and tiny troublemakers all rolled into one.

Frenchie Snouts was created to share our real-life experiences raising two very different French Bulldogs, along with honest advice, practical tips, and product recommendations we truly believe in. Whether you’re welcoming home your first Frenchie or you’ve been part of the Frenchie club for years, we hope you’ll find something helpful (or at least something that makes you smile).

Meet the Crew

🐶 Zeus

Zeus was our first Frenchie, and he definitely knows it. If Zeus were a person, he’d be the coworker who clocks in early, gets his work done, avoids office drama…

…and quietly steals your lunch out of the break room when nobody’s looking.

If there’s a blanket nearby, chances are Zeus has already claimed it. He’s happiest curled up next to Mom, wrapped in his favorite blanket, sleeping.

Don’t take it personally if he ignores you. His social circle is intentionally very small. His favorite people are Mom and Electra. Dad usually ranks somewhere around third… depending on the day.

Zeus is also the brains of the operation. He learns new things quickly, figures out routines almost immediately, and always seems one step ahead.

Unfortunately…

He sometimes uses those brains for evil. If something can fit in his mouth…it’s probably his now.

Socks. Blankets. Toys. Random household objects.

If it disappears, Zeus should absolutely be considered a suspect.

When it’s time to play, Zeus is all in…

But only when he decides it’s time. If Electra spends twenty minutes begging him to wrestle, he’ll ignore her until he suddenly decides, “Okay… now we can play.”

And once he commits? Game on. He’s surprisingly athletic and can run circles around his sister when he wants to.

Meal time is another story. While Electra politely savors every bite, Zeus approaches every meal like he’s competing in a timed eating contest.

His philosophy seems to be: “If I eat fast enough… maybe someone will accidentally give me a second dinner.”

And if cheese is involved? All bets are off. Zeus would probably help someone move furniture for a piece of cheese.

🐶 Electra

If Electra were a person, she’d be the coworker who walks into the office convinced she’s the CEO… even though nobody remembers hiring her.

She’s our Chief Attention Officer, self-appointed Director of Cuddles, and the undisputed queen of Main Character Energy.

Electra has one life goal:

Make sure everyone is paying attention to Electra.

If you’re sitting down, she’s climbing into your lap. If she’s already in your lap, she’d actually prefer to be inside your skin. Personal space simply isn’t something she believes in. She loves meeting new people, greeting every visitor, and soaking up as much attention as possible.

When it comes to food, she’s surprisingly delicate. Unlike Zeus, who inhales his meals like someone might steal them, Electra likes to savor every bite. She’ll happily work for a crumb… but she’s going to enjoy that crumb.

She’s also convinced she’s in charge of absolutely everything. If Zeus is peacefully napping? She’ll poke him. Paw at him. Bite his ankles. Until he finally gives in and plays with her.

The funny part? For someone with such big boss energy… she’s not exactly our problem solver.

Let’s just say Zeus got the brains.

But somehow… she still manages to run the house.

Like many French Bulldog owners, we’ve spent countless hours searching for answers about health, training, nutrition, and all the quirky things that make Frenchies unique.

We started Frenchie Snouts because we wanted a place to share what we’ve learned through experience—not just repeat information you can find everywhere else. Our goal is to create a resource that’s honest, practical, and built by people who actually live with French Bulldogs every day.
